  1. h**l yea I would! Which companies?

  2. My round trip to work uses about 1 gal of gas so it's not a big deal for me and where I work we operate 7 days a week so to cut down to 4 days a week would leave holes in the schedule that would have to be filled by people coming in extra days, just would not work out.

It's a good idea but it cuts productivity, most people hardly make it through a 8 hour day let a lone a 10 hour day. Start at 7 and work until 6 and then put a long commute on top of that. Also businesses that depend on the people being around 5 days a week like restaurants and fast food loose sales.

  3. I would! I commute 45 miles one way, so one less day of driving would be great.

My company is not letting us do 4x10's. In fact, I am laid off at the end of Aug. Super!

  4. That would make it worse!!!  I currently work a 7on/7off schedule, so I work 7 days in a row (10hour shifts), then get 7 days off.  Its rough, but someone's gotta do it!

Nothing like having 6months off every year, and still getting a full paycheck and benefits!

  5. In a heartbeat that would be great 3 day weekends all the time

  6. Absolutely!  What's a couple more hours each day compared with a whole extra day of your weekend each week?
