I had this idea one day when I was painting, and I do not think it's been done before...The only person I would be putting at risk, would be myself.

  1. Illegal art works are the ones that usually get the attention of people. If you can create it and go to jail for a week or two but in the process got your art to be seen by thousands of people, then why not.

  2. If you are asking if I'd deface someone's wall without asking permission, my answer would be, "No."

If you are asking if I'd shoot someone in the head and call it "performance art," then, again, I'd have to say "No."

So, as you try to justify whatever illegal act you are contemplating, you have to consider, not only yourself, but the impact on others.  In the first example, it might be the damage done to someone else's property, and the inconvenience of having to clean up your unwanted artwork.

In the second example, the risk to the other person is obvious.

So, something in what you plan has already been deemed as "illegal" based on your question.  Then, WHY or WHAT would make this act illegal?  There is usually a pretty good reason there is a law against it.

    Consider carefully.
