Imagine the following situation:
You need to get something from the mall. Unfortunately, everyone else at the mall also wants that something. There's plenty to go around, but you have to wait in line for it.
There are two cashiers helping customers, and therefore, two lines. On occasion, due to one cashier or the other being quick with their work, one of the lines moves faster than the other...this activity moves back & forth between lines, but overall, both lines are moving forward at approximately the same rate.
When the line you're not in moves faster than your line, do you jump in front of the other customers, to take the "gap" that was created? Do you switch back & forth between lines, cutting in front of others, to get to the front of the line sooner?
I'm pretty sure most people would say they wouldn't do this. So, my question is, why is it okay to do this in our cars?
