Let's say you were driving home and your friend did not have a ride home, and instead they take the bus home. Let's say you both live an hour away from home and she lives about 15 minutes away from you. Will you offer to drive her home? Or will you just let them take the bus and know that they will be fine? What's your take on this?

  1. It really depends on how good a friend they are to you. If your close friend then you can have that time to talk about your day, boy or girl friends, whats happen to the world, who does the best in sports and so on.

  2. drive her home once, and offer if she wants to go in on gas with you, you can give her a ride daily

  3. yah drive em home

  4. on occasion I would but id be mighty careful that theyd expect it everyday.

  5. i would drive my friend home if i didn't i wouldn't be their friend.

  6. I'd ask if they wanted to car pool and help me with the gas as opposed to paying for the bus. A win for both persons.

  7. If you are friends, yes. If I were the one taking the bus, I would offer to help out on gas

  8. I would give my friend a ride home... What else are friends for but to help when needed.  As far as the bus... things happen... would you feel better know for sure your friend is ok?  I would...

  9. Drive them home its the only nice thing to do

c'mon shes going to wait a really long time for the bus then an extra hour to get home

whats the trouble of driving 15 minutes out of your way

  10. If they're someone I really know ,I would drive them home .

  11. I would drive my friend home!

  12. Yeah, I would drive them home if they asked for it. But if they were more comfortable taking the bus, then I would be fine with that. I would definitely offer it though.

  13. I'd drive them home.  It would be nice to  have someone to talk to on an hour long car ride.  15 min outta your way isn't that big of a deal and is safer then a women riding a bus alone.

  14. I would offer to drive her home.  If she wanted a ride on a daily basis, she should offer to contribute something towards gas expenses.

  15. "Both live an hour away from home?"  WTF?

  16. Well, there are several things to think about.  First, if they are a friend and they wont trash my car, try to smoke or drink and I am old enough to have friends ride in my car.. then I would drive them home... IF, my parents say its ok.   Second... I am in my 20's--40's... and have my own life and am driving my own car.. then I would take them home providing they will respect my car, no smoking or drinking etc....

Not knowing how old you are or if you are in your parents car or your own.. makes it harder to answere the question.

  17. I would depending if I had the time to and adv her that I couldn't do it all the time since my schedule changed alot

  18. I'd drive them home. It's only a little out of my way. If it was like, a half hour, though, I would reconsider.

  19. drive them home!

  20. It would be rude and ignorant not to, I would offer a lift. It's good to help a worthy person if you can, and it stores up good Karma for you, should you ever have no wheels you'd hope not to be going home by Shanks's Pony now wouldn't you?

  21. Carpooling is great! It helps you out with gas expenses and cuts down emissions, AND gives your friend a helping hand home. I totally suggest it, and I think you'll be surprised at how nice it is to have a companion in the car on the commute home ;-)

  22. Whether it was a friend or a coworker ...

so long as I knew the person, I would offer a ride to them ...

It would be up to them to accept my offer ...

  23. i would drive them home. 15 minutes isn't a big deal if they are your friend. something simple a friend should do for another. why make them take the bus? i mean its not a big deal either way so why not just take them?

  24. i would give her a ride probobly..

  25. I WOULD TAKE MY FREIND HOME.  ESPECIALLY IF I WAS A TRUE FREIND.  I THINK ITS MEAN TO LEAVE THEM STANDING IN THE COLD WAITING FOR THE BUS, ESPECIALLY IF YOU COULDVE HAD TAKEN YOUR FREIND HOME

  26. Offer to drive her/him home.

  27. Well that depends! This the so called "friend" you and are you wondering why someone else is not taking you home?? If the friend never asked for a ride then maybe she likes taking the bus! I know a lot of people who enjoy the bus!! Why don't you offer if you are the driver or if you are the friend who needs a ride why don't you ask???

  28. I'd take her home, only because I've ridden the bus before, and know that she'd be home like 3 hours after I got home. The bus is cheap transport, but it certainly isn't a speedy method.

  29. dont see why not. someday in the future you might need a ride. maybe not from her but someone.

  30. id drive em home.

  31. i don't get it either way she will still get home

but i would drive her home
