Would you drop any of these players for Aviles?

My staff is Peavy, Bedard, Volquez, Lilly, Dempster, Ervin Santana, and Contreras

Closers are Papelbon, Wagner, Jenks, Borowski. Most teams have either no closers or 4-5 so Soriano would be my 5th.

  1. Isn't Soriano hurt again? Gonzalez seems ready to close there.

I would drop him regardless. If you need SS help, Aviles is looking good right now.

    Good luck. Have fun.

  2. I'm a big Braves fan and realize Rafael Soriano may not pitch again this season. He is on the DL for the second time this season, and the future is not bright. You should drop Soriano. Plus, Mike Gonzalez is back and will be the closer, especially after last night's 1-2-3 inning for the save. So, don't count on Soriano getting many saves.

  3. Oh, wow. If Contreras is your best pitcher, you know you have things going well. But out of these guys, I'd drop Rafael Soriano. He's on the DL right now, and I don't trust him when he comes back. Usually when a pitcher comes back from the DL because of shoulder problems, they take awhile before they pitch like they did before. And since your pitching seems very solid, dropping Soriano won't hurt you too much for now.
