  1. no because youd end up killing another to ask someone else :]]

  2. If I was hungry I would eat it.

  3. no, i would find a way to stop you from killing the other chicken, or i'll like push you while your about to kill it and like miss and chopyour finger off, but this question is in the vegatarian and vegan section, so obviously its not directed to you mindless meat eaters.

  4. i guess id have no choice

  5. Well I like chicken so yes.

  6. No. I physically wouldn't be able to it would make me sick.

But I would probably de-limb you so you couldn't carry out your threat.

  7. Uh, no, it's been asked here numerous times.

And it's not a classic question, it's a stupid question.

I'm vegan.  I don't eat dead birds.  I don't want you to kill a bird, but if you do, the blood is on your hands, not mine.

Why do people like you feel the need to try to poke holes in our ethics?  Can't you just concern yourself with your own?

  8. uhmm

i love chicken so i guess i would

  9. Who knows????

  10. Forget saving the chickens!  I would eat the whole lot of them!

  11. uh i love chicken!!! so i would eat them both...raw!!! joking not raw. but i would eat them!

the real question to stir up the audience is would you kill someone elses baby if i told you i would kill yours if you didn't....that is sick!

  12. My grandmother used to get live chickens from a farm and kill them herself. If you saw how that is done you would never eat a chicken again.

  13. Wow this is silly.

If you kill the second chicken, that's on you, not me.

  14. yeah, i love chicken

  15. I think some people have missed the point of this question - there is no option to refuse to eat chicken and still save the other one.

It's like the classic philosophical question: kill or let die?

If I refuse to eat the chicken, YOU are the one who will actually kill the other one. I am just "letting it die", which is not the same as committing the murder. It's not the same as doing something wrong, it's just failing to do something right.

If I eat the chicken, I may as well have killed it. I think I'd rather INDIRECTLY condemn someone to death than participate in something that I think is morally wrong.

If you choose to kill the other chicken, you're the one who's murdering, not me.... I'm just letting it die [unless I intervene, which as I mentioned above, is not an option in your question].

  16. yea i love chicken so....i would say i wud kill the second one if you dont.....hahaha

  17. It would be easier for me to eat you than a chicken = )

You're evil and it isn't. Easy choice!

  18. no. i'd try to stop you from killing that chicken some other way before eating one to do so.

  19. No

For me I am making the decision to not be part of the life-stock market. Killing and eating animals for survival is one thing. It is the humongous waste of meat products that disturbs me. The tonnes and tones of meat we throw away.

Animals that die for no good reason.

    Chickens on sale for £1.99

A whole life for £1.99 that is just wrong in my eyes

Do whatever you feel like doing, I am not your conscience

  20. Only if I was absolutely starving.  I would leave and save all chickens.  Chickens deserve to live!

    Go vegetarians!

  21. Nope. I'd probably look at you like you were crazy and then never talk to you again. Then I'd go on living my happy, healthy, vegan life :)

  22. Yeah, I'd eat the first one regardless, but it's all about whether or not I'd get the second one

  23. Of course!  the chicken is already dead, so why let it go 2 waste AND kill another chicken?

  24. Are you gonna cook the second one up for us too?

If that's the case, I'm on board.

Could you kill 2 though?  I want to invite some friends over.

  25. well, lets just say that if you asked me that question in person, you wouldn't make it to the KFC

  26. This question(variations of it), has been asked numerous times in this forum.

Honestly, I would not eat the first chicken if you were blackmailing me by threatening another. The truth is, while I would feel bad for both animals, I would never allow anyone to have that kind of power over me. I feel that once you show someone that they can use something against you(especially if they are vindictive enough to try it in the first place), you have just given them the opportunity to use that every time they want something from you. What is to say that a week down the road, it doesn't happen again. When would it end?

I allow no one to compromise my morals, and ethics. When people ask questions such as this, I always quote a line from a song(can't remember the name of it), and it goes. "It's not the world that I am changing, what I do is so, this world will know that is will not change me."

  27. yeah:],

  28. no, I wouldn't. For me, it's more about the fact that i don't want to consume flesh. But at the same time i feel sorry for an animal being killed.  I would just look down on you if you killed the chicken, especially if you did it in front of a veg.

  29. no... that would be cruel to the other chicken but you would probably get arrested so no.

  30. Sure wouldn't...but I also don't respond to anyone trying to blackmail me.

    (What a ridiculous question)

  31. h**l, i'd eat BOTH of em!
