  1. issues aside if just one person vote this election cycle we will get a woman or black man in the white house

  2. Without consulting any issues, all people are equally capable of sucking at the job.  If they were identical in policy, I really wouldn't care what brand of crotch luggage they were carrying or which continent their ancestors made love on.

  3. Issues aside, it doesnt matter to me.  This election I am voting for Obama!

  4. I would pick the 1/2 black man. You know African and Black is different. Black is a mixed race, mostly with white or Indian and African is pure . Obama is black and white, but looks more like black.

I don.t think it matters about color. I am black, and being voting for whites for a long time. Look beyond color. We are all part of the human race.

  5. depends

  6. its not about race.

  7. I'd elect a green, three-eyed, scraggly, flea-ridden terrier if it could fix our foreign relations and our economy and actually live up to the oath of office.  It's not about race or gender.  It's about policy, democracy, and our Constitution.  It's about the general welfare of the people.

And I think a green, three-eyed, scraggly, flea-ridden terrior could wipe the floor with McCain in a debate any day.

  8. It depends on which one I feel would do a better job.  In this case it is Obama.

  9. I'm voting for the first Delawarean (my state) who's teamed up with the first black guy. They got more "firsts" and more brains IMO.

  10. I'd pick the better person, that's all that matters

  11. Reality check:  a white woman is NOT running for president.  A white woman was chosen today as McCain's VP - NOT the same as 'president'!  Even if that choice did exist in this election, race and/or gender would not matter - it's about who's policies, goals and ideals would be better for our country!

  12. Girl power!

  13. As long as they were qualified and they saw themselves as American first and everything else second.

  14. I would vote for the one who I think is best qualified to become the most powerful elected official in the world.

As an Afircan-American conservative, this time around I'll be voting for a VP who happens to be a white woman with more executive experience and accomplishments than B.O., the black presidential nominee.

    McCain/Palin '08

  15. Not enough information.  I'd need to know policy and intentions.

  16. choosing soley based on their gender/race is ignorant. if thats all i had to go on, id choose neither. know the issues before u vote!!!!!

  17. you shouldn't vote if there are no issues, then it's just a popularity contest. truth is americans still have high school mentality.

If the vote was texting the election would get unprecedented turnout.

  18. yes

  19. Does it really matter if it's a white woman or a black man as long as the problems we have in the United States are resolved ? Elections are held to select and vote for the persons that will do the best job for this country. I like the selection that John McCain has made, but it doesn't make me feel good with his medical problems and age to have someone as his VP with that much lack of experience to be able to take over if something should happen. If McCain doesn't win, there is a need to take that young lady and put her somewhere in Washington where she can learn more about the workings of the White House. It would never happen because they are from two different parties, but Hillary and McCain's new VP in the White House working together.

  20. Id pick the conservative.......

  21. depends on what their policies are.

  22. I'd vote for a purple hermaphrodite if I agreed with them.

  23. Depends on the who the white woman was and who the black man was. I don't vote on skin or gender alone...

  24. All else equal, black man.

Edit: Hey - when it says "issues aside," you CAN'T say "It depends..."

This is an interesting question, and nobody has the guts to answer it.

    ARE WE NOT MEN?

  25. I would vote for anyone if they were qualified and I agreed with them on issues. I can't answer that question with issues aside. That is the basis on which I choose a candidate.

I would not vote for Palin. I would vote for Clinton.
