No I wouldn't.  I didn't watch your video, but where I used to live, whenever we would visit the downtown city at night there would be someone with a free hugs sign around their necks. I would not want a hug for two reasons, 1. They'd probably try to mug me or an excuse to touch another women or 2. They are almost always dirty. And if they are dirty, they stink. And if they stink, they could be homeless and I do not want to catch crabs.

I think it nice in this world where random slapping and far worse goes on. Offering random hugs extends the better side of humanness--besides, one can always turn down the offer.

of coarse... i think its a beautiful thing! i couldn't help but smile when i watched that video. The world needs more compassionate people like that, what he was doing was a positive thing, and more positive things will come out of that... it made a lot of people smile :)

I like the idea.  However, I'm not sure how keen I would be.  I've seen a couple people in my city with signs for free hugs.  

It's a great concept though.  It's amazing how a small action, like a hug, can really change someone's day.  

To be completely honest...if he was good looking I might steal a hug!

Invasion of privacy.......Free hugs to me is an indication for "Cheap Trill"...why you want to feel her body waist line ,buttocks or her breast pressed against your chest or "Free Smell or Touch"....????

Maybe to some its a good gesture of expression...dont try this in Asia you be arrested for molest....big crime or sin almost like rape!!!
