  1. Anouther country if you are in a hurry to take care of a baby it is faster process, make sure you know what you are doing though they have a lot of people stealing money to saying they are real and they are not.

If you want to adopt in America I have 3 teenagers you can have. lol

  2. Sure. Probably would pick an american child first. If that worked out, I'd try adopting from another country. It'd be nice to have children who grew up in a culturally rich family.

  3. I'm definitely going to adopt. There are waaaay too many kids in the world who don't have parents. As for adopting from a certain country, I wouldn't care. Just as long as its a family-less kid! XD

  4. No.  Never.

  5. I have another question...Why would you adopt a child from another country when there are plenty of children in the U.S. who need homes?

  6. We adopted two siblings from Liberia, West Africa.

ETA: every child deserves a safe, loving and secure home.  No matter what their country of origin.

  7. If I adopted a child, I'd want to adopt a sibling group so they'd get to live with at least one biological relative.

I'd adopt from foster care and make sure that they want to be adopted. I'd seriously consider guardianship over adoption because they get to remain as part of their original family that way.

I'd adopt from my own country because taking a child away from their original family is bad enough, but away from their country, their heritage, their culture, perhaps even a different religion, is too much. Plus I've heard of too many international adoptions where the family do want to keep the child but can't afford to. If the APs love that child enough, they'd help the original family keep him or her in those kind of situations.

I'd only adopt kids who NEED to be adopted, like older kids who haven't got a hope in h**l of going back to their original families, whether due to abuse or whatever. And I'd ask the kids what they wanted. I'd want to adopt older kids so that they were old enough to make a decision, to CHOOSE what they wanted.

  8. Yes, I would. I always dreamed of adopting. I would first adopt from the U.S. [where I live] because there are a lot of children here that need the same amount of help as children from other countries. Then, after I adopt one or two here, then I will adopt one or two from a different country.

  9. definetly there are so many orphan children out there especially in africa and asian countries

  10. we are adopting currently both domestically and from China.  I don't see why this has to be a competition only from USA or internationally.  My heart is open to children who needs homes from anywhere.

  11. I would adopt, It would be nice in America but they make it so hard that most people cant do it. Some friends of mine had a child for over two years, Then out of the blue the drug addict mother decided she wanted her kid back so  they ripped this three  yr old child out of the only home he ever knew and took him from his parents that he loved to go back in a welfare home and get abused It destroyed all of them

  12. I would most definitely adopt a child, considering I'm adopted myself and it would not matter at all to me where he or she came from.

A child is a child, and no matter where they come from they all need families.

  13. i am adopted, but i wouldn't adopt a child unless i was unable to bear any children myself, or if i knew a child and sumthing happened to his or her parents

  14. yes I would, and probably from america

  15. Personally, i would adopt a child. The problem is, many children up for adoption are troubled and hard to care for. A lot have special needs or have drugs in their system. They would be very hard to care for, but i certainly would if i had a stable income and was home to take care of him/her.

  16. I adopted an American-born child almost 5 years ago.

  17. We're planning to adopt an older child through the foster system in our state this year.  I would also adopt from another country, but that's too difficult for us right now, maybe something we might do in the future.

  18. yes i hope to when im older.. and probably america.. but anywhere is fine with me :D also i was adopted and i know what its like and the questions asked.. btw if you adopt.. try to get SOME info on the birth parents.. cuz i hate not knowing much.. and my mom says shes got it somewhere but never seems to take much interest in finding anything.. :( but yes i hope to adopt 1 or 2 children :D

  19. Yes i would

and without a doubt they would come from america

  20. Hi, I am not from America. However, your question interests me.

Yes, I would adopt a child for the simple reason of loving someone and making one's life better. It's always been something I've wanted to do since I was fifteen and I want to adopt a child by 30. I'm already 22, so I have only have eight more years to do my research and execute my plan.

I would definitely first try to adopt a child in my own country but if it doesn't happen, then I'll look to adopting kids from my country of origin (either Japan or Bangladesh as my parents are from these countries), and then other countries.

I believe it's good to help your own people first.

So those of you wanting to adopt, try in America first before other countries, and all the best! =)

  21. We did adopt.  We started out trying for a girl from China, and ended up with a newborn boy from Ohio.

  22. I think I would choose an American child. Famous people are making foreign adoptions popular but I worry people are forgetting about the children here in the US that need a good home.

  23. Yes, I would adopt a American child.  I would never adopt from another country due to cultural reasons.

  24. i always wanted to adopt a little girl from china <3

  25. Yes, my husband and I hope to adopt children (not babies).  We will adopt in the U.S.A., hopefully children who are in the foster care system.

They need a stable home, with loving parents.  We need children to love, and give our time and attention too.....sounds like a perfect match.

  26. Absolutely.  I fully intend to.

And as long as there is still

    death

    abuse

    drugs

    unplanned pregnancies

then there WILL be children of ALL ages in need of a good stable home.

I don't care what nationality my child is. I'm open to pretty much any type of adoption, done ethically. When the time comes, we'll see what doors open and which don't, which child God has in store for me.

  27. yessir i would

    and in america

  28. Hi ;) I hope I'll have the chance to adopt someday. I am right now having our first baby, I'd love to have 1 or 2 other babies, and then adopt one. I'd adopt out of my country (Canada). I want to adopt because there are so many babies out there who need a helping hand. It's unfair to bring so many in this world without even thinking of saving one. Also, having a baby of an other ethnicity would help my children to be more open minded ;)

  29. i would and i would get on from america.. yes there kids all over the world that need homes but we should take care of our country first and theres alot of foster kids here.. i would also get an older kid becasue they never get adopted

  30. Yes I would...and I did. Adopt from your own country. Mine is England, so that's where my daughter came from. There is too much emphasis on overseas adoptions nowadays. There are thousands of children in your own country who need loving homes.

  31. We have adopted 3 beautiful children from america. Our oldest was 3 1/2 years old. Our son and last daughter were newborn. Is it hard yes is it worth it DEFINETLY. We have an open adoption with our youngest but our older 2 have lost contact with their parents which is very sad.
