I used to barrack for Carlton. I have no allegiance to them whatsoever. I hate that team! So years ago I started going for the Mighty Swannies.

Sort of spewing 'cause they are getting rid of most of the players I hated from Carlton. Cept that Fevola urrrgghuhuh. Can't stand him.

Go on then! Have a go ya mugs!

  1. No. I wouldn't.

But it is a common trend in the AFL. Look at Geelong for instance - they had a couple of friends, plus their rellies, the year before last.

Last year they won the flag & now have 5,476,823 supporters!

  2. no - I am a docker supporter - dont laugh

  3. Never, I have followed the eagles since day one and through thick or thin, its fantastic when they are flying and dissapointing when they are down, but every match day i get my eagles shirt on and watch the game. I have 3 grown daughters from my first marriage and they are all members and i have a 4 year old boy now and i enrolled him when he was born as a member too. Could never imagine ever barracking for another team NEVER and I still love watching my WAFL team west Perth. My uncle played for them in the sixties and my Nanna used to make us guernseys with number 9 on the back and we thought we were so cool, every kid should have the opportunity to have that great feeling and it needs to be passed down the generations so they can have the same enjoyment and passion we have

  4. I don't know how you could ever start barracking for another team, The hawks were down and out for years but i would never consider barracking for another team. Its called loyalty.

  5. No not a chance in h**l

  6. no way

    CARN BOMBERS

although jumpin ship from the blues ...i can understand

    :)

  7. Nah I coudnt even begin to imagine what it feels like for your team to merger, break my heart it would!

But I do tend to find myself barracking for any team playing Collingwood... Haha.. just jokes..

Blues wasnt that badder choice, is that the team u went 4so u didn get beat up? heh

  8. .............Is this Football related...?

  9. NO WAY

    GO BOMBERS

  10. lol...have not heard that saying for years..lol

Have a go you mugs!!!  love it.

I was a Footscray supporter in my younger days, but when you fall in love guys do wonders with your mind.

I am now a North supporter and have been for 18 years.

  11. No. I could never change allegiances from one team to another.

However I can't blame you for jumping ship from Carlton. How that club has retained any fans has got me beat!

  12. Never.

    Kangaroos Win or Lose.

  13. Nope. Not in a fit.

I was Fitzroy supporter before I became an Eagles fan - but when they folded & amalgamated with Brisbane I disassocaiated myself from that pot pouri team.

If the Eagles disbanded I couldn't jump onto one of the other AFL teams - I'd just put all my support behind my local WAFL team - East Perth.

As for the other WA team - I get great glee in seeing the Dockers get beat - I barrack for the opposition every week that they play. I have no time for their team & less time for most of their supporters.

  14. I just couldn't do it. Seeing north in the blue and white gives me a feeling i cant feel for any other team. When north folds (if they fold) it just wouldn't be the same. And if they move elsewhere it wouldn't be the same. I'll prob half heartedly go for the dogs until they too fold.

  15. um, my main team is Collingwood, but i also barrack for Carlton, Cats, Kangas and bombers. used to hate Adelaide Crows but i think they are alrite now.

  16. I changed my allegiance when Western Australia got there first VFL/AFL side.So now I follow the mighty(but not so mighty this year)West Coast Eagles.I hate all other AFL sides with a passion.Over here in the West some West Coast supporters say that they have a soft spot for The Dorkers, sorry The Dockers. But I say that you can't be a true supporter unless you follow one side and one side only.

  17. thats your bad  the blues for the blood clots bah sad sad man

  18. no way i will never go for any1 exept for the mighty fighting hawks thats betrayal

  19. What would ex Fitzroy supporters do here, like the guy who now follows the Eagles?

How many Fitzroy supporters, switched to Brisbane?

North Melbourne supporters might want to take note when their team folds up in under 5 years.  They're gone.

  20. Never in a trillion years.  Even if I was tortured to death I wouldnt change from barracking for the Pies!!

But your forgiven Viagra - who wants to barrack for Carlton losers anyway..hehehe

    (sorry Forky!!)

  21. Good on ya mate, and to answer youre Question, i'll always be a swannies supporter, ex-West Coast supporter, being from West Coast but moved to Sydney, nice people, nice place, and im never going too trade alligances with this mighty team, but if one day the Swans are not a team, ill still be going for them, team or no team, but please, the AFL with 2 bad decisions, Red cards, phhhhghghg, also a Western Sydney team, like cmon !

  22. No I am too loyal to my state and the Eagles who were the first team to take the cup out of Victoria and what great day that was.

I sometimes wonder if that is reason the Eagles are so hated because they were the start of all those other interstaters getting their hands of the Holy Grail.

  23. I know this makes me old but you are only as old as you feel I have followed the Magpies for 60 yrs would never change and never pick against them, I am in a sweep always pick them

  24. no way ive been a tigers supporter from the cradle and will be to the grave

Admitidly being a tiger supporter will send me to an early grave
