  1. No   Never ! Pricilla summed her up.

  2. Who is Áine Ní Chonaill?  I've never heard of her.

  3. No I don't agree with her policies and I met her before her recent infamy and I found her to be vile even then. I didn't even know who she was and after half an hour of talking to her I purposefully avoided her for the rest of the night.

  4. No way! If she had her way there'd be no Polish babes in Ballydung!

  5. No, no, oh my god, no. The woman pours forth the most deceitful bile and labels it as fact. She misrepresents the Irish people, and the only reason she receives so much attention is because she is one of the very few people willing to expose such personal racism and closemindedness in the national media.

If an individual came forward and argued against immigration in a rational manner rather than using xenophobic rhetoric, as this woman does, I might actually be able to bear to listen to them. As it is, those seeking immigration reform are served very badly by Nic Chonnaill.

My own stance is that it is healthy for any country to have a diverse population. However, politics and policy formation in Ireland suffer from a lack of informed debate or conflicting ideologies. Having 2 very similar centre right parties dominate elections leads to stagnation in the middle and the rise of the lunatic fringe, epitomised by the likes of Nic Chonaill. I understand why she is there, and hope that she may act as a catalyst for change in mainstream politics, but I wouldn't vote for her if she was the only one on the ballot paper.

  6. No. I don't agree with her stance on immigration
