  1. Never been to the olympics, would like to go though. I am a great sporting enthusiast,(though my body doesn't support the fact!). But when you get a chance, why would you miss the greatest sporting event in the whole world, just because it is outside your country? If I were rich enough to afford the plane tickets and the other expenses, I would have attended even the Beijing Olympics!

  2. I really want to go..and me and my cousin are going to london for the next olympics...We decided to go since beijing was awesome...Were all ready preparing and everything for 4 years

  3. You won't even go to Canada for the winter ones?  It'll be fun!  [=

I think I'll go to Vancouver in 2010, I think I would be going to university nearby the city by then.  Why not?  It's going to be one of those once in a lifetime things, and it would be exhilarating to hear all those people cheering for your country.

If I miss Vancouver, then I could go to London.  I might be studying there too, by the time 2012 rolls around =D

  4. that would be pretty sweet

  5. Before this year , I would have said no. But now definitely! I only watch certain events, but I thoroughly enjoy it!

  6. I would LOVE to go to the London Olympics!!

I love the Olympics and London is my favorite city outside the US.

  7. I went to the Olympics in LA in 1984.

Damnation, despite the smog it was TREMENDOUS!

  8. I am planning on attending some downhill skiing events at the 2010 Winter Olympics being held in Vancouver, British Columbia.  I can't wait. I have not attended any Olympic events before in either Summer or Winter.

  9. I don't like to go, but i believe its gonna be fun and interesting since it happens every 4 years and its like a huge(world) party :O

  10. I think it would be so great to go see.

Its all the best athletes in the world competing  together in one city.

I'm not much of a sports fan but every 4 years I love watching the summer games. (never really watch the winter)

I would love to go see them even more if they werent in the US. Well, maybe thats not true because of plane ticket costs and passport hassle...

Once I get out of college, if I'm still interested and IF have some money to spend, I'll go.

  11. I went in 1984 when the Olympics were in Los Angeles for 2 different days and I had the time of my life. I saw exhibition baseball and sat right behind first base and I went to a day of track and field the day Mary Decker fell through a crash on the course by Zola Budd. Greatest day ever with my dad and I attending. Even now, after having my own family and it being so long ago, it still is the best if times. The unity that was felt  as my dad and I were down there was top class. Everyone was friendly and united. I know it sounds corney, but it really was that way. By the way, now I can share that experience with my 2 sons who are 7 and 9. My tickets the 2 days were $10.00 for one day of baseball and $45.00 for all day track and field. I could go on forever but you get the idea that it was the best. Thanks for the question.
