Would you find it weird if a straight guy walked into a g*y bar?

What would your first reactions be (knowing that he was straight)?

I think if someone were to do that that the person would be trying to get somewhere where he probably would be somewhere where he won't see anyone he knows. You know, to get away because he's depressed or something?

  1. James, you ever watch "Beavis and Butthead"?

The way you worded your first paragraph has me

giggling because I expected you to write:

"Huhhuhhuh...  huhhuhuh". (it's just me, I lol

    at the weirdest stuff).

Anyhow for some reason I have str8 friends who

go with me to g*y bars on occasion, which is

rare because I don't really like bars. They get

a kick out of guys hitting on them, and they

laugh at the way some of the dudes dress up.

So to us it's not weird. Those same str8 friends

of mine get drunk with me sometimes and like

to gang up and tickle me to near death, but it's

guy stuff. The big dude tickling me in the avatar

is one of them and he loves making me go nuts lol,

but he's not g*y. Weird? Maybe.

  2. I would probably be doubting that he was completely straight but you never know he could be looking for a friend of his. i know its a stretch but i do know straight guys who have g*y friends.

  3. Yes. It would remind me of the scene in the movie "Police Academy" where the 2 cops were given the wrong address for a party and ended up at "The Blue Oyster Bar" . LOL.

  4. Weird? No.

Some of my friends and i have dragged a couple of my straight guy friends along with us to a right flamboyant g*y club/bar. More than once. Straight guys can have g*y friends x3

They liked to watch the lesbians, i think thats why they didn't put up any fight the times after the first.

And alcohol is alcohol wherever you get it.

  5. one of the local clubs here has lots of straight patrons, they like the music and the sound system, and if u have never seen a drag show u have missed out, its just so funny seeing the bull dykes tip the drag queens

  6. I would be like "Hmm...ok"

Then wave him over and buy him a drink

  7. d**n James (Y) how many questions answers do you do a day i keep stumbling on ur q's there not bad q's tho....ya lol idk

  8. No, people go to bar to have a good time....What if his pal is g*y? gotta support your friends dude

  9. I have gone to g*y bars with straight friends and we all have had a great time.

  10. why would it be strange?  is it strange for a homosexual person to walk into a non-g*y bar?

  11. I don't think I'd find it weird. Most of my straight friends had been to g*y bars and clubs before I ever had. They were the ones constantly trying to convince me to see a drag show. Ironic, right?

Nowadays, its only fair that my straight best friend goes to a g*y bar with me every once in a while. After all, I go to regular bars with him and our bunch of friends all the time. Turnabout is fair play. Its kind of weird for him, but he manages to suck it up.

Still, it would be a little frustrating to purposely go to a g*y bar to meet g*y men only to be rejected because the person you're trying to talk to is straight. However, I wouldn't let my frustrations get the best of me.

  12. holy c**p!...I just saw something about free drinks...I'm THERE!

  13. I have straight friends that come to g*y clubs/bars with me all the time. They like the music and the entertainment. Some of the best dj's in NYC play the g*y clubs, and some of the drag shows are hysterical, regardless of your sexual identity.
