Would you find this sweet or stupid?

Why, such is love's transgression.

Griefs of mine own lie heavy in my breast,

Which thou wilt propagate, to have it prest

With more of thine: this love that thou hast shown

Doth add more grief to too much of mine own.

Love is a smoke raised with the fume of sighs;

Being purged, a fire sparkling in lovers' eyes;

Being vex'd a sea nourish'd with lovers' tears:

What is it else? a madness most discreet,

A choking gall and a preserving sweet.

Like, I sent this to someone...I don't know if I'm an idiot for sending it or if it's actually nice.

  1. Pretentious to say the least.

  2. if i cant understand it by just simply reading it...i'd think u were a r****d for sending it to me. just flat out say what you want. LOL

    "Which thou wilt propagate, to have it prest" IS THAT EVEN ENGLISH?

  3. i'm not into poems

  4. It's not yours. It's out of Romeo and Juliet.

    Give credit where it's due. Otherwise, it's neither sweet, nor stupid, just plagiarism.

    As to whether or not to send it to someone, unless they really like Shakespeare they will just think you're weird.
