  1. My husband is not a babysitter, he's Daddy.  There is no such thing as babysitting one's one child.  But if my husband were to do that, I would be so irate that I don't even know what I'd do.  Fortunately, my husband is a great dad who would never do that.

  2. yes

  3. Husband should know better its his child and the baby sitter would get fired and reported

  4. Yep... i would in a second.

  5. It depends on if they had a reason...the house was burning down, he fell and broke his arm and the sitter took him to the hospital, etc (things that are a bit more important). But if it was out of laziness I would certainly fire him/her.

As for it being your husband, figure out WHY he didn't change your son.

  6. lol how can you fire your hubby if he don't do it right you will have to do it your self but that might be his way of getting out of it ? you never no

  7. tell him how wrong that is and ihe does it again then you will have to find a baby sitter

  8. If it were a sitter - absolutely. ANY diaper, poopy or just wet, needs to be changed more often than that! Unless the baby was sleeping.

If it were my husband I would be extremely disappointed that I couldn't count on him and would literally pay a sitter to watch the baby whether he were home or not next time I needed someone to watch the baby. If he can't handle something as simple as changing a diaper, he can pay for someone to do it.

I hope your husband didn't do that!

  9. Well interesting you ask this because my husband has done this once or twice.  Now before you rip into him, he doesn't realize that our daughter had a poopy diaper.  My three month old is notorious for pooping in silence and my husband has breathing problems because his nose is always stopped up (due to a deviated septum and awful sinus problems) so he can't always smell when she does her business.

Guys just aren't as tuned in as we mother are.  They hear crying and they think "Ok what is it now?  He must be tired".  That's what my husband always says..."she's tired".  I have to ask him if he's checked her diaper.  A lot of the time he hasn't so he does.  If she's poopy he changes her.  I know it seems kind of silly, but guys just don't think of these things as often as us mothers do.  Cut him a little slack, but remind him that if your son isn't going to sleep that he may have a physical reason keeping him awake, such as a messy diaper.

Thank you again to my stalker who has thumbed me down.  The flattery continues!

  10. yes i would fire the sitter thats there job to change the diaper the baby could get a real bad infection and diaper rash... and if it was your husband     he should take care of the baby..

  11. My husband wouldn't be sitting down for a while if he pulled that with my baby. Of course, my husband wouldn't do that either; he's Mr. Balmex happy warding off the diaper rash.

Was the child sleeping?  Did he know the baby was dirty?

    I would kill.

  12. How about you go and eat your baby's S**t.

  13. YES i would, cept im a guy so i dont hav a husband (strait n happy)

  14. EW.. No, I wouldn't fire him, but I might smack him upside the head.

  15. yes cant even think what else she has done fire them today thats horrable

  16. Hahahahha. Well, I wouldn't fire the sitter. If it was a real sitter. If it's their first time with young children  & don't know better, then explain it to them. If they do it again, you need to fire them. Poor baby!

  17. Ha! Although this case is a little extreme, I think we can't expect as much attention to detial when it comes to our husbands caring for our babies.  They are just men after all.  For a 2 hour poopy diaper, he definately needs a STRONG talking to, but you might want to find out if he was playing video games or if he was intimidated by the whole situation.  That may help prevent a future situation like this.
