Would you forget how to snowboard after a year of not practising?

if it was your first time? but bare in mind that i was pretty d**n amazing at the end of the week

  1. It's mostly about balance, and you shouldn't lose that. If you got a feel for it, you should be able to pick it back up no problem if it's only been a year. It might take you a run or two, but it'll come back.

    I haven't hit the slopes (on skis or snowboard) in almost two years now, and I'm not worried.


  2. no its kinda like rifing a bike but u arent as good when u just start right away but it all comes back eventually

  3. if you snowboarded for a full week last year, you will remember everything you learned about 30 seconds into your first run.

  4. despite what people are saying, you do. i spent my entire spring break learning rails and was pretty good at them come weeks end. then i skipped a year and came back to boarding and was not nearly as good at rails and it took me a day or two to get back. so in answer to your question, you lose SOME of what you learnt but since you just started, by the end of your first run you should get it all back..but go on an easy one first
