Would you get arrested for pulling the emergency stop button in an elevator for a lets say 10 seconds?

They put them there for  good reasons, not to play with . If someone was to do that i don't think you could reset the bottom without the fire department reseting it.I really don't think that they would arrest you if it wasn't on purpose.

Pulling it for 1 second or ten seconds will set in motion the emergency system and the rescue squad will be dispatched, this is just like pulling a fire alarm switch and if not arrested you will definitely be fined for doing this....
