who do mets need to go after in offseason? because we all know that soon, mets will choke again, and miss playoffs because of the over 24 blown saves! h**l, last week, those punks lost a game by WALKING IN! THE WINNING RUN! IS THIS THE WORST SIN OFF ALL? IN BASEBALL? WALKING IN THE WINNING RUN? THE METS DID IT!

  1. yea heilmans gtg but some guys can stay like ayala, feliciano, and smith....im sure they will do that in the offseason

  2. The only 2 I would consider keeping would be Billy Wagner and Joe Smith, and I'll be really disappointed if anybody else comes back next year.

They've all blown too many games, and this year, no one can blame Mota either.

  3. i would definatly get rid of a substantioal amount of mets bullpern characters, in the list of who id keep is ayala, heilman and wagner. heilman has shown you that he can be clutch but hes also shown opposite, so please just give the guy time and im sure h**l be the diminanlt setup man he once was

  4. This is two years in a row that the bullpen has collapsed down the stretch. I don't have a problem with everyone going, although that is unlikely to happen. I think we can for sure that Heilman is gone. Duaner Sanchez has to go too - he's got nothing anymore. His fastball is topping out in the mid 80s.

Joe Smith is OK. He's young - I'd give him another year. Ayala so far has been good too. I like Feliciano and Schoenweiss but I'm concerned that they've lost it.

Wagner is a toss up. When he's good he's great. But when he's not good he's awful. I just don't know who'd you replace him with.

  5. Start completely fresh, even get rid of Wagner -- he's too fragile.
