Would you get these rims if you were me?

vertini hennessey 20 inches (for a 98 lexus gs400).. package deal including tires.. car shop quoted me between $2,400-2,500.. here's a pic of how they look

should i get them? my car has been paid off for 3 years now, and I haven't bought anything for it in a long time.. i'm starting to get the new car itch, and i figure if I buy an accessory for it.. i'll want to hold on to my current car for at least another year or two.. i do have the cash in hand

link is broken, but keep your car as long as u can but rims aren't gonna be worth anything once u put them on it.

Yeah those are tight.  Could always move them to a new car down the road.

Nice looking rims, but I would not do it:

adds zero value to the car

could ride real hard

-will shake itself to pieces (note harsh ride will do this)

braking will be greatly hindered

have "please steal me" written all over them

have "please pull me over" written all over them

new tires will be expensive

speedometer will need to be recalibrated

you still gonna want to clean them weekly in a years time?

They will look sharp, but that is a lot of money for a non necessity.

Well can you afford to pay mortgage/rent and grocieries after you paid for those rims? If so then go for it !

dood ur pic is messed up but i think i know what ur talkin about...personally i would invest in a new ride but i think u might be gettin them alittle high for a 98 model and only 20 but it all depends on how thick they are and the tire

your picture doesn't work. but without seeing them, if you wanted them and could afford them, then get them. if it's something you truly want to do, then go for it. just make sure nobody steals them. . .

i wouldnt get rims for a 98 lexus.i wouldnt fix up a ten year old car.  

save the money and put it towards your new car.

No. I would not pay that amount for the rims

NO save your money...rims will not add one cent of value to your car..in fact they will limit the field of buyers as each has a different idea as to cool........$2,500 is not worth the one year you will have the car.
