if it was any random, NO. you can't tell anything by looking at someone. i know a story where a person was a carseller, and then one day a customer came to him and he was dressed in a suit and looked like a proper person, but then when they were going for a test drive the person in the suit turned out to be a bad person and he threatened the carseller and forced him out of the car, then he drove off with the stolen car.l

I guess it depends on what you define as a stranger... some random person that just walked up to you and asked for your number or someone you just met and engaged in a brief conversation

I gave my number to this guy once...just went up to him asked if he had a mobile..he said yes...i typed my mobile number in to his..the rest is history..he is now my husband..try it!

Not anymore, I've learnt my lesson after I gave this girl my phone number. (met her at a club) and for the next two weeks I got like calls everyday with no one talking on the other end. So yeah, if anyone asks for my number, I'll give them like my email instead.
