What is your definition of the word ' confederate'. Also what would be your first thought upon hearing a school call themselves confederates, for example say school name is Amory, and they are known as the "Amory Confederates (Feds)".

a confederacy is simply a joining or union of a group that share the same common goal

i imagine a school of confederates would be joint by the common goal to want to learn

the school is not in a conspiracy to bring back a confederate uprising in the states :)
