Would you give up everything to do with horses for a million dollars?

I mean everything that had to do with horses and never start up again.

If i said, I'll give you 1 million dollars on the proviso that you never owned, rode, touched or spoke about a horse ever again. would you do it?

  1. I would love the million dollars but with that money I'd buy more property and more horses :)

    But no, I love my horses and would never give him up, even for Brad Pitt. Haha.

    Money is money. You can't buy happiness untill you buy a horse :P


  2. i 'only' ride horses once a week as a lesson girl and don't own as a don't have time or money but even i wouldn't agree to that! My riding lessons are my anti-drug, either i ride or spend time around horses or i start 'killing' people that annoy me :P nothing takes away the stress like a good canter!

  3. NEVER! I would rather eat top rammen and work with horses than have a million and never be able to.

    And Yes I do have a concept of what a Million Dollars is. It's about lifetime supply worth of alfalfa.

    Edit- Juli me too, that and (S)tuff (P)osing (A)s (M)eat, gotta afford shoes for the horses. And I like it.

    my horses are my world and no amount of money could ever keep me from my horses.

    money doesnt buy happiness. hores make happyness no matter what situation. i love my horses they are family to me. they are my everything. money doesnt nescicerially last that long. but the memories of horses last forever

    i gave them so much of my time and they have given me so much in return, and they still have so much left to teach me.

    i'd never give that up. money can't buy happiness.

    Aside from anything else, the US dollar has plummeted and isn't worth very much... just over half a million pounds.  That's a reasonable amount of money, but not enough to make me give up something I'm passionate about.

    You can't really put a price on passion.  Incidentally, do you have a million dollars to give away?

    Add: oh, wait.  Does "everything to do with horses" include my pony-mad children?  Because for half a million quid, that could be tempting...  And would it be half a million per child?  Even more tempting!

    horses and humans can create a bond. a special friendship and that's something money could never buy. there's something special about when you get on a horse.... weather your at a relaxed walk.... a speedy trot, a concentrated canter or a flashy gallop.... there's something united bout how our body's work with our horses

    You could give me all of the money in the world, and i would never give up my horses. Nothing in the world can replace the bond between a horse and rider(or any other horse person).They give us so much more than we deserve, something that is often taken for granted. They are the best teachers and friends i have ever had. They don't judge you by your looks, or how well you do in school, but rather by the kindness of your soul. They don't teach you Eulers Theroem, or the history of the world. They teach you how to live, how to be free.

    Tell me, can you buy that with a million bucks??

    i was once offered a huge chunk of change for my beloved horse.  i turned the guy down.  he was mad...but you should have seen my husband <vbg>

    could you sell your mom/dad/grandparents/child/other loved one with the same dead?

    I like them better than humans lol. Bring joy to my life and give a challenge as well.

    P.S.  By another 10 years, i would put close to a million into vet bills and basic care with my 3 horses (and counting horses in the past).   Gesh! They are like kids, drain my bank account :P.  but I wouldn't want any different though.

  22. No way, if i gave up horses, i would have no more meaning and reason to my life. What would i do with a million dollars then??? I probably would get so depressed and yeah i never ever would give up horses. Also a million dollars is worth nothing when you have a horse that truly loves you more than anything!

    Horses are my life.  A million dollars would never be able to replace the enjoyment and fulfillment I get from horses.
