  1. If it is between cell phones and honey bees, no contest.  Honey bees are more important, to life on this planet.  Even if you forget all about honey, they are the primary  pollinators of all our fruits, apples, pears, peaches, cherries  etc.

Blade Crimson , I have an issue with you.  the cell phone is not always a toy.  I only have one because I take care of my Mom who is 92 years old..  I must be available 24/7 for any questions or problems.  The cell phone makes  life reasonable.  Of course, if there were no such thing, they would have to wing it.   I would not be available 24/7. that could be better.

  2. I don't know what one has to do with the other, but this is an easy answer for me.  I sure would.  But then again, I've never had a cell phone and never felt like I wanted one.  I'm 50+ years old and don't mind at all being disconnected from the rest of the world when I'm away from home and the office.  And yes, there is service where I live (about 500,000 people within a twenty mile radius).  And yes, I do occasionally borrow someone else's cell phone--on average, about once every two or three months.  Just offering a different perspective I'm sure some can't imagine.  I haven't got a lot against cell phones; I've just never felt like I wanted one.

  3. I like bees -- just not in my cell phone...

  4. h**l no, they've stumbled on to a way to fight the invasion of Killer Bees!!

  5. I never liked cell phones, there stupid and for lazy mindless people. Dont worry, bees' first then worthless humans...

  6. Absolutely! Polination is much more important in this world than being able to reach someone 24/7. I have a cell, but consider it a convenience if my car breaks down. I hate that people think that they should be able to reach me at all times because I have it. I liked life just fine before them. Come on people this is serious stuff! Unforunately this is probably just the tip of the iceburg as to what we will be giving up as time goes on. This is small stuff really. When we need to give up cars people will really freak!

  7. hahaha good joke

  8. What do honeybees have to do with cell phones?

  9. h**l no,

  10. Oh, God, I guess no one reads the news.  There has been a massive dying off of honey bees around the world. Honey bees are used to pollinate about 1/3 of our food crops. At this point no one knows why they are suddenly dying off. Some theorize mites, weather changes and the possibility that our cell phone signals are interupting the bees ability to navigate.

The answer is, if that is the cause, I guess if we couldn't change the signal band I guess we would have to.  However, I doubt this is the cause. We've had cell phone for years now and this this seems to be an acute change vs. one that has building up.

  11. what do cell phones have to do with honey bees? yes I would have no problem giving up my cell phone to save honey bees..hornets and yellow jackets no..

  12. If a honeybee needs my cell phone to call 911, I'd have no problem with that.
