  1. most definitely

  2. Yes, if my city had a convenient and efficient transit system, I'd gladly stop driving.

It's going to take a while for that to happen though.

  3. No because my independence would be stripped from me and i would be dependent on them and be forced to puy ther prices no matter what.

The enviroment doesnt need helping it needs to be left alone cows and buildings produce more "harmfull" exhausts then cars ...when we get rid of cows and buildings i'll get rid of my car

cut the head off not the toes if u wanna kill this demon

  4. Would you give up your CAPS LOCK if it helped the environment??

  5. Yes, but it would also have to be economical. We all need to do what we can to help the envioronment.

  6. As long as it is not a Toyota Prius

    or a bus ticket...

  7. yes way not?

  8. No Way! I love my car and live to drive fast. Driving is a hobby for me not just for commuting. Sorry environment but I am still young maybe when I am older I will care more!

  9. Yes I would give up my vehicle..

  10. *I travel about 17 miles each way to work.

**This takes about 40 minutes outward-bound, and about an hour on the return home.

**I used to go by bicycle when I was still in my thirties/mid- 40's, a couple of days per week.

***Because of highway overpass issues, I had to extend my commute to 25 mile legs, and traverse gang territories.

***Public transportation in Sacramento, CA really is not practical for suburb dwellers (three hours each way for me ...), and law enforcement won't patrol the gang-infested north Sacto. bike trail areas during the commute times.

***I'm not exactly Jet Li's stunt double, at age 49 (nor have I ever been), and I'm really not too keen about getting tossed into the slammer for tazering/pepper spraying some misguided meth addict, so ...

**I have been commuting to work via motorcycles (I now own two).

***Motorcycles sold in CA must meet strict emissions standards (EU), and I average about 47mpg with my sportbike, and 52mpg with my cruiser.

***The commute is a blast, and the only tough commutes are when it's about 30 degrees (winters), or above 100 degrees (summers).

***It's a blast to have fun, save all KINDS of $$ (on gas, insurance, maintenance, etc.), and to do it all while being greener than the vast majority of the commuters in this state.

    (;=]
