  1. My husband and I are expecting our first and he got me something for mothers day so I am getting him a little something for father's day. Nothing expensive just a little token for how wonderful he has been during the hard parts of my pregnancy.

  2. =) Yup. I got my husband to be (less than two weeks!!) a watch so that IF we have a boy when our son gets married or has a baby of his own my hubbster can give it to him as a gift!

My hubby also gave me pearls for mothers day so if it turns out to be a girl we can give her those pearls when she gets married or has a baby of her own! =) I thought it was a really cute idea, but if thats not in your price range than a nice card always goes a long way.

  3. It depends.  Did he get you something for mother's day?  were you pregnant last month or is this very new?  My hubby didn't get me anything, but I bought him a nice card and filled it with thoughts about us becoming parents and that i know he'll be a great daddy.  It will be something nice to look back on years from now and read the thoughts BC (before child).  Good luck with everything!

  4. My dad has always like the cards I've gotten him from http://FunWebToolbar.com/FathersDay

They have hundreds of free father's day cards to choose from.

  5. A nice frame w/ an ultra sound pic would be perfect! and a card sharing the joy you feel about sharing this beautiful thing w/ him..

  6. not being negative or anything that seems like a lovely gesture but anything can happen between now and birth.  When baby is born ,healthy and well then send him a pressie on the next fathers day signed by bubs name.

  7. A card would be nice.  You can always get him a "new daddy" gift to give him in the hospital when the baby is born.

  8. I would wait...that first real father's day is so special.  However, a card would be nice, telling him what you hope the baby gets from him or something like that.  Congrats!
