  1. I don't get your question at all.  What in the world does going homeschooled mean?  And who is babysitting whom?  We are teaching parents.  Parents are not babysitters....

Can you clarify the question at all?????

  2. h**l, yes.

  3. I'm not sure I understand the question, but if you are asking if I would take on another job watching other people's kids in addition to homeschooling my own, you are off your rocker!

Homeschooling IS a full-time job, it isn't babysitting by any stretch of the imagination... Geesh!

    :o)

  4. I think you are making a mistake because the grass is always greener on the other side. But being a teenager, you will do what you feel then realize 10 years from now that others were more mature and knew what they were talking about!

I babysit and homeschool my 7th grader. It is a challenge because the kids are on go all the time. If my son wasn't so independent on his studies we'd have problems but he does good on his own. Now, you have to realize that you will still have to do your school around babysitting, which is impossible while the children are there! You will be tired at the end of each day yet still have that full day's school to do. You should seriously think about this because it's your future you are talking about. You are a kid...... enjoy life because once you get out of school you will have to work!

  5. I homeschooled my son for five years for an average cost of around $800/YEAR, which is about 1/10th the cost of a public school education. (No, public schools aren't free. Somebody has to pay for it through taxes.) If you can get a better education at a lower cost and make money to boot, what's to think about? -yk

  6. The question isn't super clear. I'm going to assume that you are a student who has the opportunity to make $800/month babysitting during the day IF you homeschool.

Honestly, the $800/month should matter less than are you willing and able to really get all of you schooling done while babysitting? If you think you can handle doing your studies and babysitting, then go for it.

  7. h**l yes.

I'd happily take $1200 a month for doing basically what I do now.

  8. Okay your question is as clear as mud basically. I read it as asking if I would be willing to pay $800 a month in order to homeschool - No, I wouldn't. My parents are currently paying approximately $4 a month for me to be home-educated.

If you're asking would I agree to be home educated in order to get my paws on $800 a month? No, personally, I wouldn't. I'm home educated anyway (for $0 a month, lol!) so I'm not going to be swayed or bribed by talk of cash. Money is about the least relevant thing in my life and my world (can you tell I'm not American?!? LOL!)....and there's nowhere for me to spend it and nothing to spend it on anyway. I'd just end up sticking it in a jamjar where it'd gather dust and be forgotten about by me.

  9. depends how hard it is,

    time matters too
