Would you go on a "medical leave" from work to get out of a hostile work environment?

If you had a job where the managers were not authoritative and in charge, and staffs were allways challenging each other and taking advantage of each other would it make sense to get out of that for awhile, say medical leave-and look for a new employer at the same time? Or would they trace this? Thanks

  1. I've called out for sick and tired days. You need to look for other employment, this one sounds like it's going to wear you down.

  2. I would go to HR first. If they're unable to do anything, just look on the side. I personally wouldn't use medical leave just because it seems a bit too risky. Also, because you don't have anything else lined up, you never know what the future is going to bring- you might end up needing it.

  3. If you're off work sick, don't get caught doing other things. That's bad.

Use your own free time or vacation time to look for other jobs.
