Would you go to a beerfest?

I've seen the movie, and man was it hilarious, but I was wondering is there really an event like beerfest, and if there was would you go to it?

I would never miss one but I am German and really like beer. Lots of fun, great food. Pace yourself during the day, it lasts a long time...

Sure it's a constant in Europe. There are Beer and Wine festivals all over the place during the correct seasons

Are you meaning OktoberFest.  It's a German festival that is a must see.  There are two large ones in Torrence and at the Phoenix Club House, California.

Oompa-pa music is played, German sausages, sauerkraut, and potato salad.  I like to watch the folks dances. They set up picnic tables, and the people sing arm in arm while moving back n' forth.  Both places are nice for children, too. Oh, I forgot the beer, there's lots of it and wines.  OkoberFests can be expensive.  

They write it as the German spelling Oktober, not October

Oktoberfest! Absolutely.

And I don't even drink... but there are good times and BBQ to be had too.
