Would you go to a dentist if you knew he was HIV+?

all the essential safety measures would be taken of course and the odds of you contracting the disease would be quite small. and the doc's competence as a dentist would not be compromised in any way...so would you be willing to be treated by such a dentist?

Sure the odds are small, but they're still higher than if he didn't have it.

So, no.  I'd find another dentist.

s*x isn't the only way that the virus can be transmitted.

Absolutely!  You can love him all you want to, but AIDS is still a terminal illness.  You have to look out for yourself, too.  I'm sure he won't be offended.
