  1. Only if they are better and cheaper than in my country.

    Cheaper is doubtful. In most countries, medical care is covered by some kind of national insurance, so going abroad means you have to pay out of your own pocket. This means: it's better be worth it!

  3. Normally when you go out of the country to receive any kind of medical treatment or dental care it's because that particular Doctor is qualified in a specialized field for certain conditions. I would tell you to go in that direction in the case that he is the absolute best and only option. Meaning that if they don't have a facility in your own country that has the necessary equipment too handle your problem, then and only then would I entertain that solution.  



  4. It depends upon the treatment required and the facility avalable in my country and the affordablity of the treatment in the other country.

    Not available in your country? Then, yes, of course.

    Cheaper elsewhere? There are a few services I choose not to give to the lowest bidder. Health care is one of them.
