Would you pay to go to a farm in southwestern Manitoba and just hangout, stay in a cabin with a hot tub and a view of a valley and river. There'd be horses and bison to view and lots of wildlife. I don't think I'd go with trail rides because of the liability but there would be plenty of hiking trails in the valley and fishing spots on the river. 2 cabins with room to sleep 4 in each one. Nice and relaxing with no pressures for up to a week at a time. This place is not built yet but I'm thinking of building something along this line. I'd also set it up for winter use as well. X-country ski trails and snowshoeing. The hot tub could be used year round as well.

  1. yes

  2. Yes, Canada is so relaxing and so enchanting! The people here are so friendly and give great hospitality.

P.S. The food there is awesome, too!

  3. Yes I would. Trouble is that Manitoba does not seem to have a really good marketing program. Of course, that does not mean you cannot become the best little marketer this side of the Rockies. You appear to have the location, location, location part down to a tee. Next step is marketing, marketing, marketing.

These days that pretty well includes a web site - you can do that yourself very cost effectively with an all inclusive SBI site. I don't have a site myself but I know lots of people who have done exceptionally well with this Canadian company. Pictures are worth 1000 words so drag out the old digital camera and take lots of good pics and put them up. There are lots of places on the Internet that can help with getting the most out of your photos - CNET gives free courses. And there are free places to get help editing the photos you have. I like GetPaint.net  and if you are comfortable technically  - The Gimp. You say you haven't built this place yet but wildlife pictures are something you can work on any time as are scenery pics. So I would be working on this end (the pics) of things while the building was going on - that way you are prepared when you are ready to consider a site.

I hope this works out well for you.
