  1. In university, if I lived close to school? probably I would...

We had a day of -60c with the wind chill, and still went to classes. (granted, we lived in Thunder Bay...) Wear lots of clothes, scarf and ski goggles! No skin exposed to air is key...

  2. no

  3. no...

  4. schools here are closed today because of the low temps

we are in the country and kids need to take buses, I am glad they closed them.. personally I wish my boss would call and say "hey its too cold to work, stay home tomorrow"

I am in Alberta Canada, and we are having a nasty freak storm.. to be fair I am more worried about my animals than myself...

  5. It depends how much time I have to spend outside.  30 minute walk?  Probably not.  30 foot walk to a car?  No problem.

  6. h**l no I wouldn't.  I would think everywhere in the world would close the school on such a day.

  7. No no no no no no no!  And no!  I wouldn't go anywhere on a day like that.

  8. If there was school, I would go. I did grow up in Minnesota and we tend to be a little crazy when it comes to the cold, but I am also the kid who hated missing class.

  9. "feels like" he he he.... If it is -42 degrees C.... don't go to school....
