Would you go to your neighborhood block party?

I guess it depends on how well you know your neighbors, however if the Home Owners Assoc is holding one right in the public parking lot right in front of your house, it makes more difficult to not go.

I think, it will be highly advisable to attend, and you probably don't have to stay the whole time, but what is your advice?

I went to mine and it was great.  I found out some really high profile people live next to me.  (government office holders)

If the HOA is throwing it I would go because I paid for it with my dues. How long I'd stay depends on what and who is there.
