For the females-answer the question as if it was a possibility.

Sidney Crosby did (well tried too) but Malkin didn’t. So would you? Why or Why not?

  1. Yep.

  2. Oh bviously I would mine would be wayyyyyy better than crosbys something like talbots lol

    its just what you do

  3. Totally grow the beard, and forget getting the hair cut.  Remember Tony Amonte a few years ago when he went on that streak in Chicago and did not cut his hair!

  4. Only if I could grow a respectable one (which I can).  If I didn't have decent facial hair, I would never embarrass myself by skating around with the equivalent of rat fur on my face like Sid the Kid.

  5. Anyone think Malkin's choice not to grow one is causing his poor Cup performance? The Hockey Gods do not look kindly upon dissenters!

  6. I don't think this would look very good since I am a female...

however, if I was a man I would have to!

  7. Yes i would.  Every player should do it.  some people feel it is stupid, but it is tradition.  In the playoffs you have to get superstitious.  I would definitely follow the tradition and grow a playoff beard.  It is also good fun.

  8. I don't like facial hair, so no.

  9. I would, but why obscure such a masterpiece? I mean, it would be like using magic marker to put a beard on the Mona Lisa.

Besides, the NHL needs all the best marketing ideas it can come up with and if I were playing, my face could sell the league to the #1 spot in sports.....

  10. Yes, playoff beards are great and funny to see. I feel bad for Sidney Crosby though. He's trying to grow one but it looks likes he's going to fail.

  11. I still have Mine...i wont shave till the Flyers win again!

  12. I do every year this year I shaved pretty quick since my team (Devils) where out fast I still got some growth do to my hairiness though.

  13. Not would, but DID !!  With my wifes support too !!  Ever since the second game against Nashville ( when we had I wedding to go to, and I had to shave).  My wife, and kids, are all looking forward to me shaving ( I am too, getting hot ), but everyone is behind me, and that means so much.
