You don't/didn't have to be unhappy for this either or abused etc. Maybe you got on better with one parent better than the other? Perhaps with hindsight, or is something you had always wished for, just having one parent?

I used to wish it was just me and mom and my sister.

  1. while i think a kid should have both a mother and a father,i do wish i was an only child.i have four younger sisters and needless to say,it's hard to be heard in such a large family.

  2. you should do what you feel is right

  3. Well it's hard to say about my family I'm happy I have my brother but at the same time would have been nice to be an only child. But as far as one parent would have much rather just had my dad then my crazy mom lol.

  4. well, i did think abt that long time ago. but then i realized i shoudn't be thinking like that. it's lucky 4 us if we still have both parents. if they're not as good as we want them 2 be, doesnt mean we have to be less than gud. we can learn from their mistakes n weaknesses.

  5. Life isn't easy for parents raising children alone. And wishing you had more, is ok but realistic about what is in frontt of you. I had both parents and it wasn't no joke, one got mad and went to the other for support or back up.

Just be happy you have a family. There isn't alot of that going around anymore and appreciate what you have and will make a difference in how you think.

    be happy

    family

  6. think its best to have contact with both parents
