  1. If you filed a 2007 tax return and are eligible, you'll get the stimulus payment, there's nothing additional to file.  But if you don't file a 2007 return (the one filed in 2008) then you don't get it.


  2. Just file your 2007 return - nothing else.

  3. To get the rebate, you need to file your 2007 taxes and not be claimed as a dependent on someone else's return.

    Plus, your tax return must have been PROCESSED by April 15th to get the rebate check on schedule.  If you filed late, your rebate will be delayed.
