Would you hesitate? Pointless story

There once was a man in the special forces who was catching sleep before an exercise or operation. He wakes up inside a burning plane to people trying for an exit. The interior is practically a burning furnace so naturally he thinks the plane was hit after takeoff or something. Nobody has parachutes but he swiftly launches himself out the nearest door in a skydiving position. A moment later he slams into the ground. Reflecting upon the situation, he was reacting to one problem at a time.

Should be common sense to grab a parachute, when your planing to sky dive.

Yes, depending on the height..  I doubt jumping out of a plane at 10,000 feet would be the best course of action if you lack a chute.  I would check make sure the plan is burning/there is no parachute.  If there isn't one, id probably jump out a few seconds before the last, hopefully the plane would have lowered in altitude and maybe there will be a lake or body of water below(still bad, but id prefer to jump into a lake than onto concrete.

Now why jump out a an airplane without a chute unless you were burning up for sure.......
