  1. No, too young, at that age your still only children. I wouldn't give my pets to anyone under 14 and I would have to meet them and chat with them to make sure they know their stuff.

  2. Yea, I would.  Parents I'm sure would help their children take care of your pets.  I would for my kid.  Besides, this makes the child feel more responsible and older.  I would first check to make sure their parents are involved though.  So yes, if parents came and made sure the pets were properly cared for, I would definitely hire these kids!!!

  3. No, sorry but I don't feel that a child of that age is responsible enough to watch my pets.

  4. It depends on the 11 year old.  If that person showed great care, compassion and responsibility, then no problem, I'd hire them right away.

  5. Well, maybe, depending on their responsibility.

  6. nope

  7. No sorry, to young.

  8. It depends. How well do you know them? Ask previous customers - did the 12-year-old take care of their pets nicely?  Maybe ask her to show you how she would take care of your pets if you were gone, and judge her on that.

  9. No, sorry.  I only trust my pets to close friends or pet professionals who are licensed, bonded, insured, and recommended to me by someone who has used their services.

  10. Well I believe that it depends on the child! I am 12 years old an a huge animal lover. I have a dog, a dwarf bunny, a hamster, many fish, and am currently taking care of a stray cat until I can find her a home! I am taking care of them myself. Not my parents. I also voulenteer at my local animal shelter and groom pets! But the thing is. is that im a very mature child for my age. Although, I beleive that if you know the child well enough then you should know thier maturity level. But it depends. Are they going to have any supervision while grooming the dog? Are they going to watch it at your house or thiers? If they have it at thier house, a parent might be supervising them. It also depends on how big the dog is, how many kids are helping, and how long they are watching it! More info would be helpful, but i probably wouldnt recomend it. A 13 or 14 year old would be much better! But if you do go with an 11 or 12 year old, interview them first! Make sure they seem amtuer and seriouse!
