I have an interview coming up, and I've also applied for many other jobs in person, but my left cheek appears swollen, like I just got a tooth pulled, and I wonder if that's why I haven't been hearing back and I wonder if it'll hinder me during my interview. It's not like I can wait for it to go down, it's acne, and it's been here since puberty.

  1. you should have taken a doctor's note as proof

  2. Your deformity might be a hindrance if you're working with the public>> hate to say it, but image for some companies does count.  Though, they'll never admit to it.

Would ice help reduce the swelling?

  3. No, most likely not. It is something else, so don't worry.

  4. Yeah, right.....

You went for an interview and you didn't get a call back because of your swollen cheek.......

    Is this a serious question??/

Who says you did great on your interview??? Reality check - if you didn't get a call back you just didn't do great enough on your interview.

    Sorry.
