Would you hire the people that wrecked the economy to fix it?

Imagine this....you hired a company to rehab your home while you went away on your 2 week summer vacation. when you come back...you find that the house is a wreck...a total mess. The company has damaged done $20,000 worth of damage to your home. They now tell you ...that you should hire them to not only fix the mess they made but to do the original job you wanted. They keep telling you over and over that if you choose another contractor, your home will be wrecked to oblivion and that you should stay with their company instead.

No I wouldn't rehire the destroyers of economy and property to fix anything.

If you are referring to the US economy, it could do with some rehab. The best way to do that would not be to hire anyone, simply disband the Fed Reserve, and have the government stop bailing out banks.

Or we could do nothing, the economy is not that bad. Last quarter designer jeans companies were seeing profits, last week a mall finished a remodel in my area and threw a big party, where droves of people lined up over night to go spend money in the big new mall, companies are spending a fortune on advertising on the TV, radio, and internet to sell us cars, computers, and everything else. Meanwhile politicians are telling us the economy is bad so that we will hire them to fix things.

What economy are you talking about?  Can't the the US because we're intact.  Or, are you speaking as  one of the libs who preaches doom and gloom?  If so, life must be a drag.
