  1. i would let it live even if it where a black mumba (most dangerous snake alive) even though they could kill you take it from there point of view that is there territory you live inside the house the snake lives outside it is only trying to protect itself so learn where it goes and stay away from there its that easy so many freaks will grab a shovel and not give it a second thought all life is sacred i cant even see pics of dead snakes

  2. It really does depend on the threat that it presents to me and mine.

If the snake is close to an area that my family frequents, then he will have to go. If I can safely capture and relocate him, then I will do that. If not, then I will try to kill him.

I realize that many / most people are not comfortable capturing snakes - poisonous or otherwise - and those that aren't, shouldn't. While I don't believe in killing anything if it can be avoided, the safety of my family comes first.

  3. I would let it live, even if it was trying to bite me. Venomous snakes, especially those here in the U.S., don't go looking for trouble and don't want anything to do with people, so if it was trying to bite me, it's probably because I was messing with it. In that case, you can't blame the snake for trying to protect itself. Most of the people who go around killing snakes are ignorant and often uneducated. Live and let live!

  4. i once killed a small rattle snake with a broom and a shovel. then i put it in a bag and took it to work the next day to show all my buddies. I did have a good reason, it was on my porch while i was bbq'ing with my 2 year old.

  5. I wouldn't be able to kill it because I would be running away from it faster than a speeding bullet!

  6. same as scottie. but if i had my machete. CHOP! off with that chumps head

  7. I would let the snake live, poisonous or not.  the snake has just as much right to live as the rest of us.

furthermore, snakes are more afraid of us than we are of them - and for good reason.

  8. if it is near me or my house, i'd probably get rid of it - i would hate to step on it accidentally or my dog to want to play with it.  i love animals, but i don't want to put me or anyone around me at risk...........

  9. Let it live , if it was doing no harm and minding its own business

But if it was showing a sign it is going to harm me badly i would have no choise

  10. Depends on where it was, for example in my house or out in the bush, and if it's being aggressive... if so and I had the right - ah - tool, I probably would.

  11. Depends on the threat it may posses. If I let it live, will it kill me or any other living thing? In that event, I would have no choice.
