Would you kill somebody like Shipman before they dealt some damage, given the opportunity?

I refer, needless to say, to the British serial killer Dr. Harold Shipman, who was tried and sentenced for 50 murders.

    Are you really asking if it is right or just to kill somebody /before/ they kill?

    If you are then, no! that cannot be justice; they've not committed a crime.

    What must be in place is a proper system to ensure that doctors cannot go rogue like this without proper checks being put in place.
