Would you know why when I do a search in Yahoo I always get 2 or 3 sites before the one that I select.?

Also many times I cannot even use the back button to go back the the search page. I am sick of this happening.

The most likely sites are picked but html etc. come up with them.

That's weird, you might check your system for spyware or adware, nasty software that tampers with the search results as they're displayed.

Also, sometimes "spam" websites sneak their way to the top of search results.  Those sometimes mousetrap the user, so they can't easily leave the page.  If you see one, report it.

Though I've also seen legitimate sites where the "back" button didn't work.  You hit back and it would land you on an "inbetween" page which would immediately send you forward again.  In those cases, just hit the part of the "back" button that lets you choose the last few pages, and go 2 back.

people pay money to be in the top pages in Yahoo and in other search pages...

meaning that if you are searching for an specific thing, lets say... "homes" anything that has to do with homes in the industry... that word is bought by different Realtors, contractors... roofers.. etc...

the highest biter.. is the one that get in the top of the page... regardless of what are you looking for...
