  1. yes. If you trust them then I dont see why not.

  2. no because they are at an age where they care about girls and are going to start getting into trouble and probably going to care less about who their watching

  3. No,I wouldn't personally leave my children with 12yr olds. Especially 2 because then they have something else to focus on rather than the children they are babysitting. I am not tryin to be rude but  I would not trust that too much. There have been people I know who have done that and the children were fine but it only takes one distraction for something to happen.  I just think 12 is too young to be taking care of another child seeing as they are technically still children themselves(they're not even teens yet)

IF you feel comfortable then go for it but I would advise against it personally.

  4. I wouldn't but it depends on how old the child is.  If it was a baby or toddler, absolutely not, and I think it's horrible that a parent would consider a babysitter that young for an infant.  If it's a child over 5, then I think it might still be acceptable for some parents, but not me.

  5. It all depends. How old is the child? Are the 12 year olds trained? If the 12 YO's are trained, then probably, as long as the child isn't a newborn, or under 3.

  6. dear god no

  7. It depends on how old your child is.  If I have 10 & 12 year old daughters, and, one has a friend over, and, the 12 year old regularly babysits for the younger child, I would.

Otherwise, it depends where you are going and for how long.  If you are running around for half an hour and it is noon, I would.  I would not leave them for longer than an hour without checking up on them (in person).  I also would not leave them at night.  I would also make sure that the kids knew basic childcare and was familiar with our home and neighborhood.

  8. Not a chance.

  9. Absolutely not. That's just ASKING for trouble.

  10. No way!!!! Do you yourself think a 12 year old is responsible? If you are questioning this, and are unsure...you probably should not! I would never leave my child with someone I questioned!!!! These are your babies, make sure they get the best and accurate care they can possibly have

  11. This is kind of an open ended discussion without the specifics. How mature are the 12 year olds? Are they 2 boys or 2 girls? What age is YOUR child(ren)? etc. There really has to be more taken into consideration than just what's there.

  12. depends on how mature the 12 year olds are. and it depends how old the child is. if they are a baby or toddler, maybe not, but older like seven or eight..then yeah.

  13. No.  And if you have to ask people on here, you should already know the answer.  Go with your gut.

  14. NO   No   NO  No

  15. no

  16. No!!!!! DON'T UNLESS U COMPLETELY TRUST THEM!!! IF U DON'T AND LEAVE HIM ANYWAY, YOUR AN IDIOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

  17. no. way.

  18. depends how old the child is and whether you trust them or not. 12 years old probably dont know enough infant care, so id be hesitant to leave a newborn with them, but toddlers and older? sure. 12 year old can be very responsible.

  19. No. I would be more likely to leave my child with ONE 12 year old than with two. Two 12 year olds are going to chit chat, talk on the phone, polish their nails...etc. They're not mature enough to babysit (in most cases) and they will be distracted by each other. Bad idea.

  20. Nope

  21. I am 12 and I have a friend who is twelve and together we could handle almost any kid(s). I trust myself but possibly not others my age. Do you trust them? If it is just the age that bugs you there is no problem unless you have another problem with the kids. If they have younger sibs I can almost guarantee you they will be good

    Hope that helped

  22. That REALLY depends. How mature are these 12-year-olds? How well do you know them? Have they been around your baby before? Are they responsible? Some might say a 12 year old is too young, and most are. But there are some that act older than they are due to their maturity level. You must know these 12 year olds though and be able to trust them.

  23. NO i dont think 12 yr olds are responsible enough to deal with an emergency situation.
