  1. No,it is not safe for a young girl to go into reststop bathroom alone. If mommy or daddy wouldn't let you,hug them and thank them for caring.Don't be a rebel.Be mature.

  2. Statistically speaking the world is a safer place, the difference is that the people who live here are more paranoid and aware of the risks, they just put to much emphasis on what COULD happen.  I would let my daughter use the restroom on her own, I doubt she would want to though, those places have a creepy vibe.

  3. omg can you see the door from where you are, you can wait for her outside the door.

  4. I dont care about what age she is.

Bathrooms can be odd places. That's why women usually go in pairs! LOL Let along a reststop bathroom at night time.

But if she insists, I mean.. she is 16! Make sure no one else is inside and that someone is watching the door just in case... it just feels safer!

  5. yes of course I would she is 16 not 6

  6. no. there are to many crazy guys lurking around at night in the day time maybe because it would be lighter but at night tine no way.

  7. I'm 18 and I wouldn't go in there alone... it's wayyyy to creepy. I'd have somebody check inside before I went in there or have my mom wait outside for me.

  8. No. I think when you go to a reststop, you need a buddy. Call me nerotic, but reststops always have the weirdest and scariest looking people. A few times I've had random people pull their car up next to mind and ask if I had any spare change! Unless you're alone on the trip, bring someone into the rest stop with you.

    Best Wishes =]

  9. I would want to go in with her, or at least stand outside the door.

  10. yes as long as i was standing right outside the door. If i did see her come out after a certain time i would yell in the bathroom like " hey you almost done" ...someone could be in there lurking....especially if the rest stop is desolate... if you see a bunch of females going in then uhhh maybe that would be okay but by herself alone in a desolate area not so well lit lol NO!!!

  11. yes . i would pull up out there and wait in the car. thats ridiculous to say hold mommies hand and lets go in here together . what happens if shes driving alone and has to use the bathroom ? 16 i think shes old enough . pull up to the gas station if ur town is that bad u need to relocate cant live in fear forever

  12. I don't like going there alone and would never send my daughter alone.

  13. I don't see a problem w/ it as long as she doesn't pull a britney and go in there barefoot what's the problem?

  14. I think I would let her go by herself. Well, depending on the area the rest stop is in. At 16, most girls know several ways to handle a guy if he tries anything. If you are really paranoid, you could give her a small keychain pepper spray or something. Tell her to have it ready to use just in case someone were to burst in. Shot of pepper spray and a kick to the groin and the guy wouldn't be doing anything for a while.

  15. I wouldn't want to go into a restop at night alone. Protect her.

  16. Im 18... and dont go into reststop bathrooms by myself at night. There are always creepy people out.

  17. If there is a bunch of people around that look scetchy thn no. if it seems pretty quiet then i wouldnt worry.

you can always met in the middle and either stand nearby or have her take her phone in with her.

  18. NO!!! even at 19, when I go on family car trips, someone ALWAYS goes with me, it's just not safe

  19. Yes... I've done it myself when I was far younger, Obviously just be where you can see the door or where ever. She's 2 years from being an adult...

  20. Not at night.  I wouldn't even go into a rest stop bathroom alone at night!

  21. no!!!

havent you ever seen the movie "rest stop"

it actually comes on the sci fi channel tonite!! creep and really scary!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  22. I am fifteen and no, my parents don't even let me go into a reststop bathroom alone in the daytime. Not that I would want to, even. I just want to stay safe. So please just tell your daughter your idea beforehand, or you could just walk sort of behind her and not totally walk with her if she really doesn't want to -- just linger. Either way, just make sure she's good. Thanks!

  23. No I would not...

This world is getting crazier everyday...

    =)

  24. Yes, people are having children at 16, so I would let her use the bathroom at a rest stop; however, If I was concerned about the area, I'd stay right by the door, tell her to yell if she needed me.

In fact, I'm 24 and when I travel with my dad, he is very protective of me.  We traveled across the country with my dog a few months ago and when we'd stop for the night, in weird cities, he would make me call him if my dog needed to go out and he'd be in the room next door, and come and get him.  I told him I can handle my own, but he doesn't seem to think so :)

    Just do whatever is safe.

  25. absolutely not..........
