  1. if you trust her and if you dont have a very small child i would let her babysit if i have maybe a 5 and above age group.

  2. It would depend on the person. I started babysitting when I was 12. My neighbor's daughter watched my boys last summer and she was 12 almost 13.

  3. No I would not. I wasn't allowed to babysit by myself until I was 16.

  4. Only if it is a family member

  5. If my child was over 6 and if it was only about 5 or less hours...sure...but only if she knew what to do and would be good if somehting bad happends. Before saying yes talk to her parents. I hope this helped.

  6. let her learn by beaing a mommy healper let her babysit while your  home and when shes ready to you start with 30 min and worl up

  7. if your child is 8 and the baby sitter is responsible and you were only gone a max of an hour and a half then yeah i would let them.

  8. The only way I would let a 12 year old babysit is if it were my child and they were watching their younger sibling.

  9. If your child is over 5 yrs old, and its just for a few hours and she is mature, sure. I wouldn't leave her with a baby or toddler though! Anything can happen. Make sure a neighbor is home too, just in case she needs help or in case of an emergency!

  10. if they seem matchure enough when i was 12 i babysat all the time

  11. I let my 13 and 11 year old nephews baby sit my 6 and 4 year olds . But just for a couple of hours. They are great with them and cheap. :)

But I would day only if you know this girl really well and you have seen her in action with your kid, and if yours isn't very young. Like say 2 or younger

  12. I would not... any child under 14 can not legaly babysit... and the police can take your child if they find out...

  13. I don't have kids yet but if it was for the max of 3-5 hours and she was mature then, I would. Just make sure she has all the emergency #'s and someone you know would be ready to come over at anytime, if anything happened. Plus,it depends on how old the kid is. If it is a baby or a toddler (2-3 years) then I wouldn't. Any kid older than that then that would be fine. Plus, make sure the kid has a temperment she can handle.
