Would you let a 13yr old boy babysit your children?

It's a little on the young side, but a 13 year old who's had classes obviously takes the job seriously.  I might not leave an infant with a 13 year old, but otherwise, yes.

As to whether the babysitter's gender would make any difference to me, absolutely not.  Boys can be responsible and nurturing, too.

Do the families know each other fairly well?

What is the age difference between the 13 year old and the children he is going to "babysit"? Perhaps also their gender(s).

i wouldnt let anything with a growth in between there legs babysit my 3 girls!

well, if I had kids, yes i would.

most 13 yr olds arnt as immature as people think they are, trust me on that one.

I used to Babysit when I was 13 for extra pocket money. I know it's supposed to be a 'girl thing' but it was easy work as usually the kids were very young and were in bed by the time I arrived.

I even used to babysit my Principal's kids!

Yes....but only if he is mature because there are 13 year olds that are and arent mature...

      For the people above....NOT all 13 year olds are immature...some are more mature than there parents

Nope. At the age of 13 you're too immature and irresponsible and is still practically a child. When i was 13 i was cpr certified too..

I would and I did, and my son babysat at that age.
