  1. ofcourse , why not?

seriously you are your childs parent not owner , you cant stop them listening to somthing

  2. Yes - my daughter is four and she loves the song, we listen to it together in the car.  She's too young to understand it, she just likes the music.  Even if she were older I still would.  People make too big of a deal out of it - its just a song!

  3. No, not any more than I would let her listen to a song about kissing a boy over and over.

  4. I would.

I really dont think letting her listen to it is gonna make her wanna go kiss a girl.

    And its not THAT dirty.

Plus, homosexuality is a big thing these days.

  5. no way, ever

  6. It depends on what age your daughter is, and if she ever really kissed another female other than you. If she has, or is young, then don't let her listen, she might think it is okay to kiss someone of the same s*x. if she hasn't, and is of an older age, then i guess its okay, she should know better than to do such things by then. but it is all up to you! hope i helped!

  7. I have a sixteen year old daughter and a fourteen year old daughter.  We have discussed human sexuality and acceptance of all types of relationships.  My oldest at the age of fifteen was curious and kissed one of her closest friends.  She came to me and we talked about it.  The song is a funny thing we now sing together.  I am proud to say that my daughter and I have an open relationship and not only is she allowed to listen and sing the song...but allowed to kiss a girl herself if she so chooses.

  8. if i had a daughter i'd let her listen to it whther she understood it or not.

It's really not gonna make her wanna go make out with a girl.

And if it does then i think people have to step back and let her do what she wants.

If the girl wants to be a L*****n then let her.

If you prevent her from doing that then it's going to push her into it more.

And if she starts to like a girls then she does or it could just be a phase.

  9. Um, yeah? People are born with whatever orientation they are going to end up with. Listening to a song isn't going to change it one way or another.

In any case, I don't see anything wrong with homosexuality, however popular a position homophobia may still be.

I don't see what the big deal is.

  10. I would allow my daughter to listen to it. There is nothing wrong with being homosexual. I would accept my child if they were homosexual or not, born with or without an arm or anything.

  11. I don't know anything about the song, but unless it is sexual in some way other than kissing, what is the big deal? There is nothing wrong with being g*y.

  12. Yea, you let her listen to hetero love songs.

  13. yeah it's just a song...it doesnt mean she will become a L*****n....thats katy perry

  14. Yep, we have it saved on our youtube playlist, I even let her watch the video...horrors!

I don't censor her music, we don't censor music in this house, I even let her sing songs with swear words in them, she generally chooses to use the word "beep" in place of the swears....double horrors!

One of our favorites...Filthy Gorgeous by the Scissor Sisters.

  15. Yes, it's just a song. However if it influences your daughter don't be afraid to talk to her. In the end you have to accept her orientation whether you like it or not. Hope i was able to help email me if u need anything.

  16. It would depend on her age and level of maturity, but broadly speaking, yes.  I don't see anything wrong with it.

  17. Yes there are plenty of songs about kissing a boy. So what if they are g*y, there is nothing wrong with that.

  18. No, No way

  19. Nope!  I have an almost 4 yr. old, and I definitely have to be careful of the music I have on when she's around.  I thought my brother was joking the day he told me about that song, I couldn't believe it!  But whatever sells, right?  I felt uncomfortable hearing it the first time, but it's the music is actually quite catchy now that I've heard it more.  But no, I don't think it's appropriate listening material for my daughter, at least for now.

  20. I don't have any kids now, but I would if I did. It's not that bad of a song, it's just about kissing.

  21. Sure

  22. No, I don't think that would be a great idea. Kids listen to music and then they start to memorize the words and before you know they might do exactly what they're listening to. When my son is in the car with me we listen to contemporary gospel. Some music today is so disturbing.

  23. It would most def depend on the age! If it was a young daughter like under 12 I dont think so. Also it matters if they understand what this really means. My neice who is 13 listens to this song but that is okay with me because she understands everything about the song and knows thats gross (lol).
