No middle ground. Me poor but happy with my lot as money makes so many unhappy. I believe that money is the root of all evil. I dont need luxuries I need to live and a little can go along way. I believe that having this computer is a luxury but I could live without it if it wasnt here. I do have luxuries but dont really need them to survive. Have a good day from Sandy in Australia.

  1. I would rather be poor and happy. Unhappiness creates a feeling of not wanting to live. I would rather have happiness without money, than rich but unhappy by far.

  2. ...show me the money and i'll provide my own happiness...thanks for asking...

  3. Money means nothing to me. As long as I make enough to feed myself, etc... I'm good. I don't want to be materialistic, cause you can't take money with you when you die... see my point?

So I'd rather be poor and happy.

  4. If money can't buy you happy then you don't know where to shop.

  5. I am poor and happy. Money is tight but we survive.

It'd be nice to have more money, but I've seen rich families who hate each other. I wouldn't give up my wife and daughter for that

FYI, 30 pieces of silver was the price of a slave back in those days.

  6. Well, I've tried poor & unhappy, so why not give rich & unhappy a try.

All kidding aside, I'd rather be comfortable & happy.

  7. poor and happy.

because what makes us rich is love (in any form).

money is something that was created to make a balance in this world between good and evil... it has been the root of evil from the beginning.

Example: Judas betrayed Jesus for only 30 pieces of silver

  8. Study after study has shown that people living in poorer societies tend to rate themselves happier than we in the West.  Possibly being less stressed, and have less need to compete for success contributes to their happiness.  I prefer less income and more happiness if I have to choose one over the other.
