My sister lives on Mars and Galaxy. Only has a Milky Way when she's on a health fad.

I'm not the pioneering type. When it is colonised and they have hot water, lawns, supermarkets and football, then I'll go.

We actually could have had a base there as far back as the 1980's.. but then, as now, it is so much politics..

The physics of maintaining a Martian colony are daunting.  We surely could do it..  But..  our country is very far from what it was when America decided to send people to the Moon.  We don't have the infrastructure, really, anymore.  Too bad.
